I've been attending the clinics for the past 3 months and seen significant improvements. The coaches pay attention to refining your technique. Along with good drills and repetitive touches, you just need to show up to get better

After only playing volleyball in a rec league with my friends I decided to try out the clinics to improve my individual skill.

I signed up for and completed the high rec and intermediate clinics. Both clinics helped me to improve my skill and understand what proper form and technique was for passing, spiking, serving, setting and blocking.

Coach Ethan was my main coach and he was wonderful. He assisted me a lot in drills as well as everyone but took time if he noticed we were struggling in an aspect to correct form or technique.

I definitely recommend this clinic to anyone interested in improving their own skill especially if they have never been properly coached or trained.

Vortex is an amazing volleyball community. I’ve attended most trainings/clinics, privates and recently joined a tourney and all I can say is they are well organized, supportive and very approachable. The coaches are passionate volleyball players who know how to effectively share their knowledge, skills and technique to help elevate your game regardless if you’re a beginner or an int+ player.

I’d suggest to start from their beginner/high rec program to learn the fundamentals and break bad habits. Work your way up to the int+ clinic for the quality reps. Don’t forget to join the tournaments and drop ins along the way to implement your game play!
Ps. They also offer specialized pop up clinic which are my personal fav.

After a very long break from volleyball, Vortex was a godsend. I’ve seen such an improvement in my technique and confidence in just a couple of months, with many thanks to our amazing coaches. (Shout out to my OG coaches: Jimmy, Arjun and Ethan)
